The brand katarinahamilton of Scandinavia was founded in 1993.
Apart from her own brand Katarina has worked with numerous assignments for private customers, museums and small and large corporations. She has designed logos, art directed campaigns, painted large murals for private homes and museums, as the Meditarrenian museum and the National Museum of Science and Technology in Stockholm. She has designed exhibitions for the Music museum in Stockholm, for the Natural History Museum and others.
“I was born in northern Sweden with a norwegian citizenship. The family moved early southwards and I grew up in the Archipelago of Stockholm in the village called Dalarö. Our home was frequently visited by culture/creativity-workers, musicians, authors from all corners of the world. Music and art started early for me and I went to a music school called Adolf Fredrik in Stockholm. I have lived in different parts of Sweden and in Paris. Today I’m resident in Old Town, Stockholm and have my company based at my house at Dalarö. Showroom, stock, office, and studio. During the summer I let the showroom transform into a summer shop and my lovely old garden into a garden café with comfortable chairs, tables and sunshades. I love baking so the bread, buns and cookies are made on site from my own recipies. Welcome to visit!” /Katarina
