A tiger, comfortably enjoing a peaceful moment in fresh, clear and soothing water.
2022 is the year of the Water Tiger 水 虎 according the Chinese traditional 60 year cycle calender, starting February 1st, 2022, ending January 31st, 2023.
The Tiger is the king of all animals, a symbol of strength and courage, empowered to clear out all evils. Water represents agility, intelligence, wisdom, softness, and calmness.
The Chinese traditional calender is a sixty year cycle of twelve animals and five elements successively in fixed combinations. The earliest evidence of it in use is from more than 2000 years ago during the Han Dynasty, [206 B.C.–9 A.D.] In modern China the sixty year cycle calender, the ”Jia Zi” is defining all the holidays. Chinese advice: Keep a Tiger close (images count!) for luck and safety.
